The plant collection at the University of Freiburg

Most vascular plants of the Freiburg Herbarium were previously transferred to Karlsruhe. A new collection of vascular plants and bryophytes is being developed. The collection is specialised mainly in vascular plants and bryophytes from southwest and central Europe and the Mediterranean region. The collection includes about 13676 specimen of 4514 taxa (up to species and sub-species level) (last up-dated: 16.04.2007).
